WHO I AM
My name is Irvina, but my friends call me Irvy. I'm 37 and I live just outside of Ottawa, Canada. I'm an aspiring writer, bookworm, YouTuber, and a cat-mom.
I'm passionate about helping women recognize and take control of their inner power and consequently their lives.
Helping women see themselves with greater clarity and becoming happy and excited about it gives me a tremendous amount of satisfaction. The kind that tells you this is it...

My journey to becoming an empowerment coach started out as a weight loss journey on my Instagram. I wanted to keep myself accountable, and to inspire others along the way - but a few followers quickly turned to tens of thousands. And, in only a couple years I lost over 130lbs!
It was a wild ride, but it created an opportunity for me to help women who we're struggling or just needed a little bit of inspiration. From the start, I always focused on empowerment and mindset. I made sure my followers understood that your mindset and your well-being should come first - then everything else.
More often than not, I found myself talking about confidence, belief in yourself, and how to lead a more empowered life than I did about diets and workouts.

WHICH BRINGS US TO TODAY
My absolute favourite feeling is when I see in a person's eyes the moment they are unshackled by doubt. It is like liberation from a prison - which in many ways is.
When you feel like you're not living on your own terms, that someone else has dominion over you, or that situations and circumstances are beyond your control - it's a living hell.
You can plaster on a smile all day long and act cheery, but you can't lie to yourself. If you've cried yourself to sleep even once because of how powerless you feel in your life, it's one too many. Human potential is far too great for anyone to feel like they can't.
In fact, far too often the things you believe about yourself aren't even your own ideas. The doubt, the fear, and uncertainty are all byproducts of someone else's failure and short-comings projected onto you. And, if left unaddressed you'll just end up doing the same to someone else. Self-doubt is a giant circle-jerk with many participants and it can be hard to snap out of it if you don't know what to do.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO YOU
Fortunately, I was able to snap out if - and now I want to help you snap out of it too. I know it can be hard to believe, especially if you're really down at the moment, that it is possible to live your life on your terms. It is possible to feel secure about yourself, and experience life from an authentic vantage point. It is possible to love yourself. I'm telling you this not because I simply believe it, but because I have lived through the journey.
I now feel it is my responsibility to reach out to you if you need a hand. If you're ready to work together, great. If you're not ready yet, that's okay too!
